Wendy is a certified medical assistant with special training in gynecology, bio-identical hormones, and plastic surgery. She has been employed by Dr. Maupin for the last 9 years and has experience assisting a prominent St. Louis plastic surgeon who trained her in facial peels and other aesthetic treatments.
Her role with Bio-Balance 4 Women® is to initially communicate with and schedule
patients for consults, evaluation and treatment by the Nurse Practitioners and
Dr. Maupin, both in Kansas City and St. Louis.
Susie has expertise in many areas of medicine and is part of the clinical
team of Bio-Balance 4 Women®, managing and inserting pellet hormone therapy.
Her history in patient care includes obstetrics, gynecology, endocrinology
for women, breast cancer treatment and counseling, and General surgery. She
has worked many years with Dr. Maupin in Labor and Delivery at Christian Hospital,
then with Dr. Maupin's patients in ambulatory OB/GYN practice. Her most recent
accomplishment is the care and management of bio-identical hormones in women.
Her diverse experience makes her an excellent source for our patients' questions
and problems.
